How many times have you gotten to the end of your story and thought, “Shit. The ending doesn’t work.”
It doesn’t feel impactful or earned. It just feels like you ran out of words.
This happens to me far too frequently, both in my work as a TV writer and in my work as an author.
Even when I’ve fully outlined the story, I often get to a point where I realize the ending doesn’t feel satisfying.
