Why I think it's a bad idea to listen to music while writing

Although the idea of writing a screenplay or book with soft classical music or uptempo jazz playing in the background sounds romantic, I think it's a bad idea.
I’m friends with a lot of professional screenwriters, and as far as I know, they agree with me.
To be honest, I think writing with music playing in the background is a trap.
