What kind of notes do TV execs usually give on pilots?
Advice from a TV writer/showrunner
When a writer sells a pilot script to a network, they’re guaranteed to get notes. In fact, the minute you turn your script in, an assistant from the network will email you, requesting your availability for a notes session.
In other words, their boss hasn’t even read the script yet, but there’s something about it they don’t like and they need you to fix it. Maddening right?
