The ending is NOT the most important part

When I hear emerging writers tell me that the ending of their story will “blow me away,” I can say with almost 100% certainty that it won’t.

Worse than that, I can almost guarantee you that they wrote the entire script wrong.

I know this sounds controversial, but believe me, I read a LOT of scripts from emerging writers and I see this pattern over and over.
