One of the worst pieces of advice circling the internet is the number of episodes an emerging screenwriter should write in order to sell their idea.

Even worse, is the number of seasons they should plan out.

Before I’d take any advice, I’d do a little research and find out who’s dispensing it. This is as simple as looking for that person’s professional writing credits on IMDb.

If they don’t have any credits — or their credits are dubious — run!
