Nicole Pinkston asks:

If you are a self-published author, how do you get your book in the hands of professionals like yourself for consideration of tv/movie/cartoon series or more?

First, you need to ask yourself why a TV writer like myself would be interested in acquiring the rights to your book. After all, I’m a writer too. I have plenty of my own ideas. Why would I focus on yours?

Because your idea is better than mine?

Obviously, you think your book would make a fantastic TV show. But I feel the same way about my book.

There’s only one thing that’s going to make someone like me put down my pen, and attempt to turn your book into a TV show.
