You have an idea for a TV show that you've been talking about forever.
You tell anyone who’ll listen: The mailman, the clerk at the supermarket… a roomful of dollheads…
STOP TALKING about your pilot and START WRITING!
I’m hosting a 30-day pilot writing challenge.
We’re going to meet once a week, live on Zoom, for four weeks.
I'm going to walk you through the steps you need to take in order to transform your idea into a rough draft of a pilot script.
What do I know about it?
I’ve been a professional TV writer/showrunner for 28 years. During the seasons when I’m not working full time as a staff writer, I write and sell pilots.
I’ve sold pilots to HBO, FOX, CBS, FX, IFC, TBS, TV Land and more. (Notice how I start with HBO and not TV Land. Real subtle.)
I'm going to show you the process professional writers use to turn ideas into television shows.
I’ll tell you what to do and how to do it.
I’ll give homework assignments from week to week.
Because we’re living in a difficult economy, I’m offering two tiers:
General Admission
You’ll be invited to all the lectures and given all the homework assignments. Each lecture is approximately 30 minutes long.
Price: $47 (That’s less than $12/session. I priced it very low so that you can’t use money as an excuse not to do this.)
VIP Admission
For a slightly higher tier, you’ll get that same 30 minute lecture, and afterwards you’ll be invited to a separate 45 minute Q&A.
This is a much smaller cohort.
I’ll hear ideas from members, give feeback, and provide more in-depth examples to better illuminate the concepts covered in the lecture.
This tier is for people who want a little more feedback and guidance.
Price? $147
Even this price is still a bargain!
When:
First session starts January 24, 2026.
NOTE: When we first opened enrollment, the VIP session sold out in 10 minutes, so we added another VIP cohort. Then the second sold out, so we opened a third. I don’t know if there will be a fourth, so please enroll while we still have spots available.

I am energized!
I took me forever to get in when you first opened it. Darn near crashed a server, I imagine! I’m looking forward to it.
